Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a marae, to be known as Haititaimarangai Māori Reservation, for the common use and benefit of the hapu of Te Whanau Moana, Te Rorohuri and the descendants of Haititaimarangai, such land is set aside so as to extend the area of the existing marae over Whatuwiwi 1B1A1.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block V, Karikari Survey District and described as follows:

Area m² 4046 Part of the land known as Whatuwiwi 1B1A2 and being part of the land comprised in a partition order of the Māori Land Court dated 20 November 1951; and more particularly shown on a diagram held in the office of the Māori Land Court at Whangarei.
