Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St John Bosco School, New Plymouth.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 26 July 2001.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the regional office of the Ministry of Education, 116 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice:

“Scallop” means the mollusc Pecten novaezelandiae; but does not include scallop spat.

“Coromandel Scallop Fishery” means the scallop fisheries within Quota Management Area 1, enclosed by a line running due north from Town Point (at 37° 44.60'S and 176° 28.10'E) in the Bay of Plenty to latitude (36° 02.60'S and 176° 28.10'E), and thence due west to the northernmost point of Great Barrier Island (at 36° 2.60'S and 175° 24.10'E) and thence to Cape Rodney (at 36° 16.80'S and 174° 49.30'E).

“Coromandel Scallop fishing year” means a fishing year commencing on the 1st day of April in any year, a period of 12 months commencing on each 1st day of April.

  1. Commercial catch limit—As from the date this notice comes into force, the following commercial catch limit for the Coromandel scallop fishery applies for each Coromandel Scallop fishing year, including the current fishing year, until amended:
Scallop Management Area Commercial Catch Limit (Tonnes of Meatweight)
SCA CS 22.000

The Fisheries (Coromandel Scallop Commercial Catch Limit) Notice 2001 (No 1) (No. F185)

Pursuant to section 11 (4) (a) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Coromandel Scallop Commercial Catch Limit) Notice 2001 (No 1).

(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No.2) 2001 (No. F186)

Pursuant to section 28W (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission and after having regard to the provisions of section 28W (5) of the Fisheries Act 1983, hereby gives the following notice.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No.2) 2001.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice, “Burkhart Fisheries” means Dennis Lindsay Burkhart, Trevor Milton Burkhart, Burkhart Fisheries Limited, Burkhart Brothers Limited and Lanfar Holdings (No.4) Limited, and includes any persons associated with these persons and companies in terms of section 28W (8) of the Fisheries Act 1983.

  2. Exemption to quota aggregation limit—As from the date that this notice comes into effect, consent is given for Burkhart Fisheries to hold quota and interest in quota in excess of the 10% aggregation limit for rock lobster in quota management area 5 as provided in section 28W (1) of the Fisheries Act 1983, up to an aggregation limit of 25.036% of the total transferable quota for rock lobster in quota management area 5.

  3. Revocation—The Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice (No.2) 1995 (No. F7) is hereby revoked.
