Road Realignment—Old Balfour Road, Southland District

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and
to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland,
Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described
in the Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the
Southland District Council on the date of publication hereof
in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations
Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto as a Government purpose (site for a
national memorial) reserve, subject to the provisions of the
said Act, and further declares that the said reserve shall
hereafter be known as the Coates Memorial Church Reserve.

Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis-Cattle Levy) Order 1998

Cattle Slaughter Levy Notice

Pursuant to section 12 of the Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis–Cattle Levy) Order 1998, the Animal Health Board Inc. gives notice that the above levy on adult cattle slaughtered in licensed premises is hereby fixed at a rate of

$10.00 (G.S.T. exclusive) per head.

This rate of levy will come into effect from and inclusive of 16 July 2001.

The purpose of the levy is to partly fund activities under the Biosecurity (National Bovine Tuberculosis Pest Management Strategy) Order 1998.
