Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose
(drainage) reserve over the land described in the Schedule
and declares that the land may be disposed of by the
Manukau City Council at current market value, the proceeds
of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to
be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other
reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards
the purchase of other land for reserves.

Change of Name of a Reserve by a Territorial Authority

Pursuant to section 16 (10) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a
resolution of the Tararua District Council dated 30 May
2001, the Chief Executive of the Tararua District Council
hereby changes the name of the reserve described in the
Schedule to this notice from Ngapaeruru Scenic Reserve to
Mangatoro Scenic Reserve on the date of publication of this
notice in New Zealand Gazette.

Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Harrison Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation
from the Minister of Conservation, the Community
Relations Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the
Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve
described in the Schedule hereto as a scenic reserve for the
purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act
1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further
declares that the said reserve forms part of the Harrison
Scenic Reserve.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve—Onekawa/Pirimai, Napier City

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Chief Executive
Officer of the Napier City Council hereby notifies that on
16 May 2001, the Napier City Council passed the following
resolutions:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Napier City
Council resolves that the land held by the said city in
fee simple and described in the First Schedule hereto,
shall be, and is hereby declared to be a drainage reserve
within the meaning of the said Act, and the piece of
land held by the city in fee simple and described in the
Second Schedule hereto, shall be, and is hereby
declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning
of the said Act.”
