Regulations 1999

Fisheries (Declaration and Notification of Mātaitai Reserve) Amendment Notice 2001 (No. F182)

Pursuant to Regulations 20 and 22 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, the Minister of Fisheries and the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries hereby give the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Declaration and Notification of Mātaitai Reserve) Amendment Notice 2001.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice, “principal notices” means the Fisheries (Declaration of Mātaitai Reserve) Notice 2000 (No. F167) and the Fisheries (Notification of Mātaitai Reserve and Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki) Notice 2000 (No. F168).

  2. Clause 2 (c) amended—Clause 2 of the principal notices is hereby amended by omitting paragraph (c), and substituting “Any reference to area/rohe moana means the area encompassing those waters in Koukourārata Harbour that lie south of a straight line drawn from Te Piaka/Adderley Head (at approximately 43°36.24' S and approximately 172°49.54' E) to Akeake/Baleine Point (at approximately 43°36.21' S and approximately 172°51.19' E).”

Pursuant to section 27 (1) of the Alcohol Advisory Council Act 1976, the Associate Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Alcohol Advisory Council Levy Notice 2001.

  2. The rate of levy payable, under section 28 of the Alcohol Advisory Council Act 1976, for the year ended 30 June 2002 shall be as follows:

Beer 0.86c/litre plus G.S.T.
Spirits greater than 23% 28.42c/litre of alcohol plus G.S.T.
alcohol by volume
Spirits less than 23% 5.21c/litre plus G.S.T.
alcohol by volume
Fortified wine 5.21c/litre plus G.S.T.
Unfortified wine 3.19c/litre plus G.S.T.
