Take notice that on 14 June 2001, an application by David John Lamont for the removal of his name from the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand was filed in the Dunedin Registry.

The application has been consented to by the applicant and the Otago District Law Society and the name David John Lamont has been removed from the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors.

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner at Richmond Park School, Hamilton (1926)

Acting under delegated authority, pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Richmond Park School Board of Trustees and appoint Heather Colby as commissioner to act in its place.

This notice shall take effect the day after its publication.

Fisheries Act 1996

Closure of the Quota Register Under Section 28P of the Fisheries Act 1983 (No. F183)

Pursuant to section 341 (5) and (5A) of the Fisheries Act 1996 and the powers delegated to me by the Chief Executive, Ministry of Fisheries, I hereby make the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice shall be known as the Fisheries (Closure of the Quota Register) Notice 2001.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on 15 September 2001.

2. Interpretation—In this notice any terms and expressions that are defined in the Fisheries Act 1983 and the Fisheries Act 1996 shall be deemed to have the same meaning for the purpose of this notice.

3. Transactions and documents affected by the closure of the quota register—

(i) On and from 15 September 2001, the chief executive will refuse to receive for registration:

(a) Any notifications of the transfer or lease of quota (other than a lease of quota for the purposes of section 28ZF, section 28ZG, or section 105A (2) of the Fisheries Act 1983, expressed to take effect in the 2000/2001 fishing year, for those stocks in respect of which the fishing year begins on 1 October); and

(b) Documents relating to such transactions or leases.

(ii) On and from 15 September 2001, the chief executive will refuse to receive for registration:

(a) Any notifications of the transfer or lease of quota and any related documents to the transfer, expressed to take effect on or after 1 October 2001; and

(b) Documents relating to such transactions or leases.
