Notice of Public Ruling

  1. This is a notice of a public ruling made under section 91D of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

  2. Public ruling BR Pub 01/06 entitled “Employment Court awards for lost wages or other remuneration – Employers’ liability to make tax deductions” was issued on 12 June 2001. The ruling’s subject matter was originally contained in BR Pub 97/7 for the period 1 April 1997 to 30 September 1997 and BR Pub 97/7A for the period 1 April 1997 to 30 September 2000. BR Pub 01/06 covers the period 1 October 2000 to 30 September 2005. It will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 13, No. 6, of June 2001.

Lake Taupo Regulations 1976

Lake Taupo (Mooring Areas) Notice 2001

Pursuant to Regulation 7 (1) of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

The areas of Lake Taupo specified in the Schedule to this notice are reserved as mooring areas.

This notice shall come into force 28 days after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Schedule

Mooring Area Description
Te Moenga Bay An area of Lake Taupo running parallel to the shore from Te Kopua Point until 150 metres north of the jetty near Alberta Street and extending between 20 and 150 metres off the beach.
McKinley Bay An area of Lake Taupo running parallel to the shore between Waikereru Point and Te Kopua Point extending between 20 and 150 metres into the lake but excluding a 30 metre wide clear access way into the southern end of the beach.
Acacia Bay An area of Lake Taupo running parallel to the shore from Waikereru Point to the southern point of the bay, extending between 15 and 150 metres into the lake but excluding a 30 metre wide clear access way adjacent to the boat ramp.
Waipahihi Bay An area of Lake Taupo running parallel to the shore and extending 200 metres southwards from the public jetty and extending between 20 and 100 metres into the lake.
Rainbow Point An area of Lake Taupo running parallel to the shore for 300 metres south of the water intake beacon and extending between 50 and 150 metres into the lake.
Two Mile Bay An area of Lake Taupo parallel to the shore running from 150 to 250 metres to the north of the boat ramp and extending between 20 and 100 metres into the lake.
Four Mile Bay An area of Lake Taupo running parallel to the shore from 50 to 200 metres south-west of the disused Four Mile Bay boat ramp and extending between 20 and 50 metres into the lake.
Kawakawa Bay (1) An area of Lake Taupo 50 metres long at the north-eastern corner of the bay and extending between 20 and 50 metres from the shoreline.
(2) Within the small enclosed cove known as “Boat Harbour” in the south-western extremity of the bay.
Waihi Bay An area of Lake Taupo parallel to the shore and running from the jetty at Braxmere to a point 100 metres eastward and extending between 20 and 100 metres from the beach.
Pukawa An area of Lake Taupo parallel to the shore running 450 metres northwards from the boat ramp and extending between 20 and 100 metres off the beach.
Omori An area of Lake Taupo parallel to the shore running south-westward between the ramp at Kuratau to a point 100 metres north-east of the Omori ski lane and extending between 20 and 50 metres from the beach.
Jerusalem Bay An area of Lake Taupo parallel to the shore extending from the northern extremity of the beach to a point 300 metres southward and extending between 20 and 100 metres from the shore.
