Employment Relations Act 2000

Department of Labour, Employment Relations Service, Employment Relations Education Leave: Approved Courses

Under section 72 (3) of the Employment Relations Act 2000, the Minister of Labour has delegated the power to approve courses for Employment Relations Education Leave to the Employment Relations Education Advisory Committee.

The effect of this is that under section 73 of the Employment Relations Act 2000, a union is entitled to allocate employment relations education leave to eligible employees in accordance with sections 74 to 77 of the Act, to attend these courses.

The Employment Relations Education Advisory Committee has approved the following courses:

Business New Zealand

  • Title: Productive Workplace Relations
  • Title: Developing Good Faith Skills
  • Title: Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • Title: A Guide to Minimum Employment Conditions in New Zealand

Finsec

  • Title: Workplace Relations & Workplace Rights

Notice of the Granting of an Open Aviation Market Licence

Pursuant to section 87U of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000,

I hereby give notice that John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Air Services, has exercised his powers and granted an Open Aviation Market Licence to Singapore Airlines Cargo Pte Ltd, with effect from 1 July 2001.

Public Trust Office Act 1957

Notice of Claim

This notice is given pursuant to section 89 (1) (c) of the Public Trust Office Act 1957.

To all creditors and claimants of Kelly Consulting Limited (a company that ceased trading in September 1999 and was deregistered in January 2001).

The sum of $3821.65 has been paid to the Public Trustee to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim is pending for the full amount held.

This claim has been lodged by Caroline Mary Kelly, the former sole shareholder of the company.

The Public Trustee is proposing to pay the amount of the claim (less associated costs) to the claimant, subject to any notice of claim being received on or prior to 26 July 2001.

Any person having any interest in priority to that of the claimant is to submit a claim to the Public Trust Central Service Centre, P.O. Box 31-543, Lower Hutt (Attention: Wayne Agent) on or prior to the above-mentioned date.

Note: This is the first and only notice of this claim.

Notice of Indemnity Pursuant to Section 59 of the Public Finance Act 1989

Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

On 26 April 2000, I, the Honourable Dr Michael Cullen, Minister of Finance, gave an indemnity in favour of United Airlines Inc. under an agreement between the Royal New Zealand Air Force and United Airlines Inc. for the provision of flight training services for Boeing 727 aircrew.
