Road to be Stopped and Set Apart as Segregation Strips—State Highway No. 6, Fox River

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the Schedule of this notice to be stopped.

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the stopped road in the Schedule to be set apart as segregation strips and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Māori Freehold Land Set Aside as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set aside to be included in the Māori reservation and that land shall form part of the reservation over Waipuka 2U Block which was set aside as a church and cemetery reserve upon trust for the native owners of the block on 17 July 1902.
