  1. The section of State Highway No. 96 that is in Southland District, commencing at the Makarewa Flood Channel Bridge (Route Position 30/0.00) and proceeding generally in a westerly direction to Florence Road, Winton (Route Position 30/18.41); a distance of 18.41 kilometres.

  2. The section of State Highway No. 99 that is in Southland District, commencing at the Oreti River Bridge (Route Position 00/6.85) and proceeding generally in a westerly direction to Albany Street, Riverton (Route Position 15/13.41); a distance of 21.56 kilometres.

Land Declared No Longer Required for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for education purposes.

This notice shall come into force on the 24th day of May 2001.

Māori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Whangarei 2001, No. 2.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, in relation only to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

  3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
