Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated, and Stopped Road to be Amalgamated—State Highway No. 1 Main North Road, Hurunui District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the First Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), further declares:

(i) The portion firstly described to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 27A/1134, subject to G.N. 946298, excluding any minerals contained in prior certificate of title 306/178;

(ii) The portion secondly described to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 27A/1135, subject to G.N. 946298, excluding any minerals contained in prior certificate of title 158/5;

(b) Pursuant to sections 117 and 120 (3), declares the portion of stopped road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 27A/1134, subject to G.N. 946298.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Manukau City Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Manukau City

2779 square metres, more or less, being Lot 42, D.P. 90035, situated in Block V, Otahuhu Survey District. All certificate of title 47B/385. Part Gazette Notice No. B. 302245.1 (part New Zealand Gazette 1985, page 3625).

Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the Act.
