The land is required for recreation reserve and it is intended
to use the land for such purpose.
The reason why the Tauranga District Council considers it
reasonably necessary to take the land is because the land
is required for amenity and passive and active recreational
needs for the Royal Palm Beach Estate subdivision and
other residential land in the vicinity.

Any objections to the taking of this land must be sent by
written notice to the Environment Court, Tribunals Division,
Department for Courts, P.O. Box 2750, Wellington, within
20 working days after the date of this notice.

Corrigendum—Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977 and to a delegation from
the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations
Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation hereby amends an error in the
notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 November
2001, No. 161, page 3950, by replacing the words

Gore Land District—Southland District

in the Schedule with

Southland Land District—Gore District.

Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Northland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Far North District Council on 22 June 2000:

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14
of the Reserves Act 1977, the Far North District Council
hereby resolves that the land held by the Council in fee
simple and described in the First Schedule be declared to
be a local purpose (community building) reserve, and
described in the Second Schedule be declared to be a
recreation reserve.”

North Auckland Land District—Far North District

First Schedule

1690 square metres, more or less, being Section 1,
S.O. Plan 70186, together with easements created on
C. 218601.5 and C. 644752.3 (part certificate of title
80B/622).

Second Schedule

3.1770 hectares, more or less, being Section 2, S.O. 70186,
together with easements created on C. 218601.5 and
C. 644752.3, and subject to transfer C. 218601.4 granting a
storm water easement over part shown marked “A” on
S.O. Plan 70186 (part certificate of title 80B/622).

Change of the Classification of Part of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation changes the classification of that part of
the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose
(community buildings) reserve to a recreation reserve,
subject to the provisions of the Act.
