Shrimpton Trust Scheme
Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme
Pursuant to Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
In the matter of a charitable trust known as the Shrimpton Trust, created by the donation and bequest of the late Walter Shrimpton:
Take notice that on Thursday, the 7th day of February 2002 at 9.30 a.m., the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board will apply to the High Court at Napier for orders approving a redefinition of the purpose of the Shrimpton Trust.

The applicant seeks to vary the purpose of the trust to enable the improvement of the hospital and/or community facilities and services available to the children of Hawke’s Bay by the acquisition of appropriate buildings or the improvement of existing buildings.

A copy of the proposed scheme, originating application and supporting affidavit may be inspected at the offices of Sainsbury, Logan & Williams, corner of Tennyson Street and Cathedral Lane, Napier, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Any person desiring to oppose the scheme should give a written notice of his or her intention to do so to:
3.1 the Registrar of the High Court at Napier; and
3.2 Her Majesty’s Attorney-General, care of Crown Law Office, 45 Pipitea Street (P.O. Box 5012), Thorndon, Wellington (Attention: M. A. Soper);
and3.3 Sainsbury, Logan & Williams for the trustee (Attention: C. A. Peters).
