Airworthiness Directives

Pursuant to section 72I (3) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, I, Geoffrey Neil Connor, Safety Analyst–Continuing Airworthiness, hereby issue the following airworthiness directives in respect of aircraft or aeronautical products:

DCA/AS350/61 DCA/AS355/38 DCA/EN/31

These airworthiness directives shall come into force on 22 November 2001.

Airworthiness directives may be viewed on the CAA web site (www.caa.govt.nz) or at Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt, Wellington.

Land Transport Safety Authority

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990

Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Simon Christopher Whiteley, Manager Safer Vehicles Policy, acting under delegated authority and having regard to the results of tests carried out in New Zealand on the performance of the vehicle’s braking system, exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the condition specified in Schedule 3.

Notice Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit a Māori Reservation is Set Apart

The Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Māori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 72, page 1758, 10 November 1959, for the class of persons therein stated and, pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Māori Affairs Act 1953, the class of persons for whom the Māori reservation has been set apart is hereby redefined as being for the Ngatihine Hapu.
