Māori Freehold Land Set Aside as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Māori Affairs Act 1953, on
the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori
freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set
aside as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a village site,
meeting place and recreation ground for the common use of
the Māori people residing in and about Takapau.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981,
and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands,
R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares
that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been
entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice
is hereby acquired for road and is vested in the Manukau
City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the
New Zealand Gazette.
