Notice of Product Ruling

1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section 91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

2. Product ruling No. 01/33 was issued on 6 September 2001. It relates to the establishment and operation of a group investment fund, and sections NF 1 to NF 3 of the Income Tax Act 1994. It will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin Vol. 13, No. 11 of November 2001.

3. From 26 November 2001, a copy of the ruling may be obtained by writing to the Assistant General Manager (Adjudication & Rulings), National Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.

Public Trust Office Act 1957

Notice of Claim

This notice is given pursuant to section 89 (1) (c) of the Public Trust Office Act 1957.

To all creditors and claimants of Palamino Limited (a company that ceased trading in July 1999 and was deregistered in March 2001):

The sum of $2909.35 has been paid to the Public Trustee to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has been lodged by Terence James Browne, Dawn Elaine Browne, Patricia June Channings and Bruce David Channings, the former shareholders of the company.

The Public Trustee is proposing to pay the amount of the claim (less associated costs) to the claimants, subject to any notice of claim being received on or prior to 20 December 2001.

Any person having any interest in priority to that of the claimants is to submit a claim to the Public Trust Central Service Centre, P.O. Box 31-543, Lower Hutt (Attention: Allan Burt) on or prior to the above-mentioned date.

Note: This is the first and only notice of this claim.
