Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purposes of a papakainga, including provision for sporting activities and in support of the neighbouring marae and urupa to be known as the Kapehu Maori Reservation for the common use and benefit of the owners of Kapehu I Block as recorded at 23 July 2001 and their descendants.

All that piece of land situated in Block II and Block VI, Tokatoka Survey District and described as follows:

Kapehu I Block and being all of the land contained in the Partition Order of the Maori Land Court dated 17 November 1999.

Setting Apart General Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the general land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a place of cultural and historical interest for the common use and benefit of the Rongowhakaata and Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki tribes.

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of the direct descendants and natural parents of any direct descendants of Rangimarie and Tuheka Taonui Hetet and any person or whanau approved by the trustees from time to time and the reservation is to be known as Te Kawaunui Māori Reserve.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, the class of persons for whose use or benefit the Māori reservation was set apart at New Zealand Gazette, 21 August 1986, No. 130, page 3537; New Zealand Gazette, 1 June 1989, No. 94, page 2170 and corrigendum at New Zealand Gazette, 13 July 1989, No. 120, page 3016, are hereby redefined and the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of Ngai Tama Tuhirae Hapu.
