Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose (road) reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Manukau City Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

204 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 70574, situated in Blocks III and IV, Otahuhu Survey District. Part certificate of title 19A/1186.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of that part of the Awaroa Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Classification of Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager, Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a local purpose reserve (public hall), subject to the provisions of the Act.

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Tararua District Council
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose reserve (hall site) and vests the reserve in the Tararua District Council in trust for that purpose.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993
Notice Including Other Land in a Māori Reservation and Redefining the Purposes
Whereas by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 February 1997, No. 16, page 359, part of the Māori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto was set aside as a Māori reservation known as Waimarie.
And whereas, pursuant to sections 338 (2) and 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the area of the Māori reservation known as Waimarie is hereby extended as described in the Second Schedule hereto and the purpose is redefined to include as a Māori reservation for the purpose of marae recreation and cultural activities, kaumatua housing, marae gardens and workshop and for the preservation of a wetland, for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Te Uriroroi, Te Parawhau and Te Mahurehure.
