Take notice that, pursuant to Part IV of the Electricity Act 1992, I, Tony Leverton, Manager, Standards and Safety,
Ministry of Consumer Affairs, acting under delegated authority of the Chief Executive, Ministry of Economic
Development, intend to apply, under section 38 (2) (a) for the approval of the Minister of Energy to an “Electrical
Code of Practice for issuing an Approval or Authorisation to an Electrical Worker to Carry out Live Work (NZECP
46:2002)”.

Public comment on the draft code is invited.
Copies of the draft code may be obtained from the Group Manager, Electrical Workers Licensing Group, Ministry of
Economic Development, P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
