Pursuant to Section 104DD of the Property Law Act 1952

Custodians Limited, 169 The Terrace, Wellington, being the mortgagee pursuant to memorandum of mortgages No. 550338.7, D. 550334.7 and 589707.10 (North Auckland Registry), hereby gives notice that on or about the 4th day of October 2001, it entered into possession of the property owned by Phoebe Adelaide Foley and Francis Foley, being the property comprised in certificates of title 128B/180,

127D/431, 127D/432, 127D/433, 127D/441, 127D/442,
127D/443, 127D/454 and 127D/458, situated at Liddesdale Place, Papakura, Auckland.

Notification of Determination of the Precise Question at an Indicative Referendum

Pursuant to section 13 of the Citizens Initiated Referenda Act 1993, I hereby give notice that:

Ian Wishart on behalf of The Constitution Trust of New Zealand:

– has been approved to use, for the purposes of an indicative referendum petition, the wording determined in the paragraph below;
– is the promoter of the indicative referendum petition in which the wording determined in the paragraph below is to be used;
– has been approved to use a form for the purposes of the indicative referendum petition; and

That the wording of the specific question to be put to voters in the proposed indicative referendum is:

“Should New Zealand adopt a written constitution expressly vesting sovereignty in the people and protecting fundamental human and civil rights?”

Accident Insurance Act 1998

ACC Board Pricing Recommendations for 2002/03 Following Consultation

The ACC Board has recommended to the Minister for Accident Insurance, a number of changes to premium and levy rates for the 2002/03 premium year. The recommended rates reflect:

  • the latest claims experience;
  • recent cost trends in each scheme; and
  • the additional funding requirements for the increased range and scope of benefits included in the new ACC legislation (the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act), which comes into effect from 1 April 2002.\n
    The ACC Board’s recommendations are not binding on the Minister, who will need further advice from officials and actuaries. She may accept, reject or modify the Corporation’s recommendations.

The recommended rates, excluding G.S.T. are as follows:

Employers’ Account (workers’ compensation)

ACC recommends a 6% price decrease – reducing the average premium from $0.85 per $100.00 of payroll to $0.80. This rate reflects the cost reductions ACC has achieved as a consequence of better injury prevention in the workplace and more effective
