  1. All vehicle operators must wear approved crash helmets.
  2. No passengers are to be carried on the vehicles.
  3. The vehicles must be licensed and have a current certificate of fitness.
  4. These exemptions only apply while the vehicles operate under rental service licence.
  5. These exemptions may be revoked at any time.
  6. A copy of this notice must be kept with each vehicle file at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaration That Land is to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Declaration That the Conservation Land is to be Held as a Reserve and Classified, and Appointment to Control and Manage

Under section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Auckland Conservator of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further, under section 8 (1A) of the Act, declares that the conservation area described in the Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, and further, appoints Te Taou of Reweti Charitable Trust to control and manage the reserve, subject to the terms and conditions set down in a control and management agreement.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Rodney District
4498 square metres, more or less, being Sections 24 and 25, S.O. 49577 and Section 30, S.O. 52603, situated in Block VI, Kumeu Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1971, page 994. Together with a water easement created by deed of grant No. B. 291984.1.

Education Lands Act 1949

Declaration That Mamaranui Outdoor Education Centre School Land is no Long Needed for Educational Purposes

Pursuant to section 5A of the Education Lands Act 1949, and pursuant to authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education, Wellington, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

  1. The land described in the Schedule to this notice is no longer required for educational purposes.
  2. This notice shall come into force on 11 October 2001.

Schedule

All that piece of land comprising 1.2563 hectares, more or less (more particularly shown on survey plan No. 40575, held in Land Information New Zealand), being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 30892, part Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 23173 and part Lot 3, D.P. 30892, situated in Block VI, Kaihu Survey District and being part of the land described in certificate of title 793/227, New Zealand Gazette, 1958, page 171 and New Zealand Gazette, 1974, page 2145 (G.N. 294192.1).

Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989

Māori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to sections 21 and 66 (5) of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Wanganui 2001, No. 4.
  2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are, in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
  4. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is also released from being declared a water area.
