Safelane Pro test lanes that are fitted with the following brake testing devices:

Brekon 130-3 series for an axle load up to 3,000kg;

130-4 series for an axle load up to 4,000kg;

130-4S series for an axle load up to 4,000kg.

Safelane Truck test lanes fitted with roller type brake testing devices suitable to test brakes of heavy vehicles with an axle load limit at a test speed as follows:

10t: axle load: up to 10,000kg, test speed: 2.8km/h or 5.6km/h.

13t: axle load: up to 13,000kg, test speed: 2.8km/h or 5.6km/h.

16t: axle load: up to 16,000kg, test speed: 2.6km/h or 5.2km/h.

18t: axle load: up to 18,000kg, test speed: 2.6km/h or 5.2km/h.

The Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 2001

Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager Safer Roads, give the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 2001.

  2. Those localities and roads on sheets 1 to 4, numbered respectively LT01/56/1, LT01/56/2, LT01/56/3 and LT01/56/4 of plan entitled “Gazetted Speed Restrictions for Roads in Christchurch City and Roads at Templeton in Selwyn District” and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, and indicated by markings in accordance with the legend on that plan, are declared to be:

(a) closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Act, at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; or

(b) 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or

(c) excluded from the limitations as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Act, pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Act,

as may be ascertained from the legend on the plan. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.

  1. This notice revokes the Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 1999*.

Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Tokoroa Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2001.

(2) This notice will come into force on 1 November 2001.

  1. Abolition of Tokoroa Rural Fire District—The Tokoroa Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.

  2. Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice—The Tokoroa Rural Fire District Order 1948* is hereby revoked.
