This revocation takes effect on the date of publication of this notice.

Notice of Approval to Act as a Statutory Supervisor Under Section 48 of the Securities Act 1978

Pursuant to section 48 of the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

The Securities Commission approves John Huntsbry Midgley to act as a statutory supervisor for the purposes of the Securities Act 1978 in respect of participatory securities issued by persons named in the schedule (the “specified persons”).

This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

This notice expires on the close of 31 July 2006.

The approval is given subject to the following conditions:

(a) That John Huntsbry Midgley is not at any time a member of any scheme of which a specified person is the manager;

(b) that John Huntsbry Midgley does not at any time hold any office or appointment (including appointment as auditor) or have any involvement, relationship or interest in respect of any specified person or any scheme of which a specified person is the manager, otherwise than in connection with the performance of his functions and powers as statutory supervisor;

(c) that John Huntsbry Midgley does not at any time control or have the right to control, directly or indirectly, any specified person or any scheme of which a specified person is the manager, otherwise than in connection with the performance of his functions and powers as statutory supervisor;

(d) that John Huntsbry Midgley does not at any time hold any participatory securities issued by any specified person;

(e) that no relationship exists at any time between John Huntsbry Midgley and any specified person or any scheme of which a specified person is the manager that affects, or is likely to affect, his ability to perform his functions and powers as statutory supervisor; and

(f) that John Huntsbry Midgley maintains satisfactory professional indemnity insurance in respect of the exercise of his functions and powers as statutory supervisor.

Pursuant to section 48 of the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission revokes John Huntsbry Midgley’s approval to act as a statutory supervisor in respect of participatory securities issued by Anglican Methodist South Canterbury Trust, Karadean Holdings Limited, Social Service Council of the Diocese of Christchurch and Windsor House Cottage Trust dated 26 July 2001.

Declaration that Marginal Strip Not Required

Under section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements set out in section 24 of the Conservation Act shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land required in connection with electricity works (the Taupo Control Gates) specified in the Schedule.
