Ministry of Fisheries and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited Registry Services Delivery Notice 2001 (No. 2) (No. F202)

Pursuant to section 295 (1) (b) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This is the Ministry of Fisheries and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited Registry Services Delivery Notice 2001 (No. 2).
   (2) This notice comes into force on 1 October 2001.

2. Interpretation—In this notice:
   (a) “Registry Services Delivery Agreement” means the agreement between the Ministry of Fisheries and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited for the delivery of registry-based services.
   (b) “Chief Executive” means the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries.

3. Performance of powers, functions and duties of the Chief Executive—As from the date that this notice comes into effect, the performance of certain powers, functions and duties of the Chief Executive relating to the delivery of Registry Services will be performed by Commercial Fisheries Services Limited, pursuant to the Registry Services Delivery Agreement which commences on 1 October 2001.

4. Revocation—The Ministry and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited Registry Services Notice 2001 (No. F177) appearing in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 April 2001, No. 37, page 823, is hereby revoked.

   (2) This notice comes into force on 1 October 2001.

2. Interpretation—In this notice:
   (a) The “Registers” means the Fishing Vessel Register, the Permit Register, and the High Seas Permit Register.
   (b) “Chief Executive” means the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries.

3. Commercial Fisheries Services Office—The Chief Executive appoints the following office of Commercial Fisheries Services Limited to be a place at which the Registers are to be located:
