Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Victor Ian Everiss, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Conditions
(i) The items specified in Schedule 2 must be in sound condition and good working order and must not be modified in any way.
(ii) Static three-point lap and diagonal seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in the front outboard sitting positions.
(iii) All seat belts must be securely anchored to the vehicle and seat belt anchorages that are not the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment must comply with Specification St 120395.
(iv) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
(v) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Notice of Approval to Act as a Trustee Under Section 48 of the Securities Act 1978
Pursuant to section 48 of the Securities Act 1978, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.
Notice

The Securities Commission approves Geoffrey James Crichton Clark to act as a trustee for the purposes of the Securities Act 1978 in respect of an offer of debt securities by Plastic Retailers (NZ) Limited (“PRNZ”) to be made in a registered prospectus dated on or around 24 August 2001.

This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

The approval is given subject to the following conditions:
(a) That the aggregate amount of the principal sums owing under debt securities allotted by PRNZ to the public does not exceed $150,000.00;
(b) that PRNZ is unconditionally obligated to repay the shareholder advances within 24 months of first issue;
(c) that Geoffrey James Crichton Clark is not at any time a member of any scheme of which PRNZ is the manager;
(d) that Geoffrey James Crichton Clark does not at any time hold any office or appointment (including appointment as auditor) or have any involvement, relationship or interest in respect of PRNZ or any scheme of which PRNZ is the manager, otherwise than in connection with the performance of his functions and powers as trustee;
(e) that Geoffrey James Crichton Clark does not at any time control or have the right to control, directly or indirectly, PRNZ or any scheme of which PRNZ is the manager, otherwise than in connection with the performance of his functions and powers as trustee;
(f) that Geoffrey James Crichton Clark does not at any time hold any securities issued by PRNZ;
(g) that no relationship exists at any time between Geoffrey James Crichton Clark and PRNZ or any scheme of which PRNZ is the manager that affects, or is likely to affect, his ability to perform his functions and powers as trustee; and
(h) that Geoffrey James Crichton Clark maintains satisfactory professional indemnity insurance in respect of the exercise of his functions and powers as trustee.

Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road—State Highway No. 50A, York Road to Pakipaki
It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated 1 August 2001 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 50A in Hastings District described in the Schedule hereto and, as more particularly shown on Plan LA/30/92/1 and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Napier, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.

The section of State Highway No. 50A, commencing at the intersection of the Hawkes Bay Expressway and York Road (Route Position 0/9.19) and proceeding in a generally south-easterly direction along York Road to its intersection with Maraekakaho Road, then in a generally south-westerly direction along Maraekakaho Road to Pakipaki Road, then along Pakipaki Road to its intersection with State Highway No. 2 (new Reference Station 678); a distance of 8.24 kilometres.
