Notice of Recognition of Certifying Authority Under Regulation 24 (5) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Petroleum Exploration and Extraction) Regulations 1999

Pursuant to Regulation 24 (5) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Petroleum Exploration and Extraction) Regulations 1999, I, J. M. Chetwin, Secretary of Labour, hereby give notice that I am satisfied that Lloyds Register of Shipping meets the criteria set out in regulation 24 (1) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Petroleum Exploration and Extraction) Regulations 1999 for recognition as a certifying authority for the carrying out of inspections and the issuing of certificates of fitness in accordance with regulation 25 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Petroleum Exploration and Extraction) Regulations 1999.
