Exemption From Specified Seat Belt Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, Jörg Simon Mager, Senior Engineer Vehicle Policy, hereby notice from the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice exempt from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Conditions
(i) Two-point lap seat belts that comply with the appropriate vehicle standard are fitted in all rear sitting positions;
(ii) The seatbelts specified in (i) must be in sound condition and good working order and must not be modified in any way;
(iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time.

The Commodity Levies (Pipfruit) Order 1996
The levy rate for the year ended 31 October 2000, is 2.0 cents per tray carton equivalent (tce) of pipfruit (+ G.S.T.), as passed at Pipfruit Growers New Zealand Incorporated’s annual general meeting on the 9th day of September 1999.
A tce equals 18.8 kg of fruit.
There is a minimum levy payable of $150 (+ G.S.T.) and a maximum levy payable of $2,000 (+ G.S.T.).
The levy is calculated on a grower’s total production of pipfruit produced in the 1998/99 (1 November 1998 to 31 October 1999).
The levy is payable by pipfruit growers who produced 1000 tces or more of apples and/or European pears in the 1998/99 season.
A request for production information was sent to growers in November and an invoice, based on the information supplied, will be sent in February 2000.

Pursuant to section 5 of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, I, Sandra Lee, Minister of Conservation, hereby approve the sale of the following parcels of land currently vested in the Grey District Council being part of the land described in Part C of the Schedule to the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991 under the description “Greymouth Harbour Lands” and being more particularly described in the Schedule marked “A”
