Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 May 2000, which was granted under those regulations to Joyce Te Amo Luke in respect of Ngarongo Kohanga Reo (52712), situated at Ketemarae Pa, Mountain Road, Normanby, Hawera.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Sis Peter and Paul School, Lower Hutt.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 4th day of July 2000.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

Fisheries Act 1983

Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2000 (No. F154)

Pursuant to section 28W (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission and after having regard to the provisions of section 28W (5) of the Fisheries Act 1983, hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and Commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2000.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette and shall expire on the day of 31 March 2001.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, “Northland scallop fishery” has the meaning ascribed to it in section 2 of the Fisheries Act 1996.

3. Exemption to quota aggregation limit—(1) As from the date that this notice comes into effect, the Northland Scallop Enhancement Company Limited is permitted to hold quota in excess of the 20% aggregation limit for the Northland Scallop Fishery as provided in section 28W (1) of the Fisheries Act 1983, up to an aggregation limit of 95%.

(2) As from the date that this notice comes into effect, the Directors of the Northland Scallop Enhancement Company Limited are permitted to hold quota and interest in quota in excess of the 20% aggregation limit for the Northland Scallop Fishery as provided in section 28W (1) of the Fisheries Act 1983, up to a limit of 95%.

Fisheries (Northland Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 2000 (No. F153)

Pursuant to section 369 (6) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Northland Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 2000.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, the term “Northland scallop fishery” has the meaning ascribed to it in section 2 of the Fisheries Act 1996.

3. Northland scallop fishery season—The Northland scallop fishery season for the 2000–2001 fishing year will commence from the beginning of the 15th day of July 2000 and end with the close of the 14th day of February 2001.
