(ii) This vehicle must be fitted with side lamps that indicate the vehicle’s width;
(iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time;
(iv) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990
Pursuant to regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Richard Wolf, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.
The notice in the New Zealand Gazette of 1 June 2000, No. 59, page 1297, referenced as au3846, is hereby revoked.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Revoking State Highway and Declaring Public Road to be State Highway No. 1, Pokeno
Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule below is revoked, and the road described in the Second Schedule below is declared to be State highway within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.
First Schedule
That section of State Highway No. 1 at Pokeno commencing at the State Highways No. 1 and 2 intersection (Route Position 369/15.91) and proceeding in a south-westerly direction through Pokeno and Kellyville to its intersection with Koheroa Road (Route Position 385/6.54); a distance of 6.98 kilometres.
Second Schedule
The section of recently constructed road at Pokeno commencing at its intersection with State Highway No. 2 (Route Position 369/15.91) and proceeding in a south-westerly direction to its intersection with Koheroa Road (Route Position 385/5.88); a distance of 6.32 kilometres.

Transport Act 1962
Bylaw Regulating Heavy Motor Vehicle Traffic on State Highways at Orewa
Pursuant to section 72 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand hereby makes the following bylaw.
Bylaw
1. Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the Transit New Zealand (Heavy Motor Vehicle Traffic on State Highways) Bylaw 2000/12 and shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Interpretation—In this bylaw, “heavy motor vehicle” means any motor vehicle (as that term is defined in the Land Transport Act 1998) which has a gross laden weight which exceeds 4500 kilograms.
3. Regulating Heavy Motor Vehicles on State Highways—No person shall drive or take or permit to be driven or taken, any heavy motor vehicle on any road, or any part of a road, specified in the First Schedule to this bylaw, unless that vehicle is used for the express purpose of:
(a) Providing an emergency service on a road, or part of a road, specified in the First Schedule, or in the immediate vicinity of that road or part of that road; or
(b) The provision or maintenance of a network utility work on or in a road, or part of a road, specified in the First Schedule, or in the immediate vicinity of that road or part of that road, provided that the provision or maintenance of that network utility is undertaken by a network utility operator as defined in section 166 of the Resource Management Act 1991;
