Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be limited access road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Together With a Right of Way Easement to be Acquired for a Public Work (Water Works) at Main Drain Road, Rangiotu and Vested in the Manawatu–Wanganui Regional Council

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a public work (water works) and is vested in the Manawatu-Wanganui Regional Council together with an appurtenant right of way easement in terms of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952 over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and such easement to be subject to the additional conditions as set out in the Third Schedule hereto, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) The parties to the easement agree that the right of way over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto shall not be metalled or formed.
