Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator, Southland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a scenic reserve to local purpose (community buildings) reserve.

Reservation and Vesting of Land at Te Anau

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation reserve and, further pursuant to section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, the reserve is hereby classified as a recreation reserve and further pursuant to section 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, vests the reserve in the Southland District Council in trust for that purpose.

Declaring Lessor’s Estate and Leasehold Estate Acquired for Road and Road to be Stopped—Lindis (State Highway No. 8) District of Central Otago

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), and section 28, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 8, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares that the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby declared road, which pursuant to Section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 8 and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) (a) and 117 (6) declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the leasehold estate in Part Run 678, entered in the Register Book as part Volume 338, folio 20 subject to memorandum of mortgage 924936/5 and caveat 947290.1.
