The Traffic (South Wairarapa District) Notice 2000
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (South Wairarapa District) Notice 2000.

Those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plans numbered:
(i) LT0047/1, entitled “Speed Restriction Plan Martinborough”; and
(ii) LT0047/2, entitled “Speed Restriction Plan Featherston”; and
(iii) LT0047/3, entitled “Speed Restriction Plan Greytown”; and
(iv) LT0047/4, entitled “Speed Restriction Plan South Featherston/Pirinoa/Lake Ferry/Ngawi”,
held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) as 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.

The following notices are revoked:
Excluding Streets and Roads from Limitation as to Speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3.*
Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36.**
Declaring Portion of Road to be a Limited Speed Zone for the Purposes of Regulation 27 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1956.***
The Traffic (Greytown Borough and Featherston County) Notice No. 1, 1973.^*
The Traffic (Featherston County and Featherston Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978.**
The Traffic (Featherston County) Notice No. 1, 1981.^***

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Authorised Futures Notice 1997 (No. 3) Amendment Notice No. 3
(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Schedule amended—The Schedule of the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) is amended by omitting the name “Mercury Energy Limited” and substituting the name “Mighty River Power Limited”.

Conservation
Conservation Act 1987
Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes
Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister for Food, Fibre, Biosecurity and Border Control, being the Minister responsible for the department of the State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Otago Land District—Queenstown Lakes District
705.37 hectares, more or less, being Sections 9 to 12 inclusive, S.O. 24648. Crown land. No title.
