Fund Notice 2000 Amendment No. 5 and shall take effect from and including the 1st day of June 2000.

2. Amendments to notice—The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in Common Fund) Notice 2000, New Zealand Gazette, page 424, is hereby amended:

(a) by omitting from paragraph 2 (a) the expression “3.70 percent” and substituting the expression “4.10 percent”;

(b) by omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (i) the expression “6.00 percent” and substituting the expression “6.15 percent”;

(c) by omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (ii) the expression “6.10 percent” and substituting the expression “6.40 percent”;

(d) by omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (iii) the expression “6.15 percent” and substituting the expression “6.50 percent”;

(e) by omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (i) the expression “6.20 percent” and substituting the expression “6.30 percent”;

(f) by omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (ii) the expression “6.30 percent” and substituting the expression “6.50 percent”;

(g) by omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (iii) the expression “6.40 percent” and substituting the expression “6.60 percent”;

(h) by omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (i) the expression “6.30 percent” and substituting the expression “6.40 percent”;

(i) by omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (ii) the expression “6.40 percent” and substituting the expression “6.60 percent”;

(j) by omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (iii) the expression “6.50 percent” and substituting the expression “6.70 percent”;

(k) by omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (i) the expression “6.40 percent” and substituting the expression “6.80 percent”;

(l) by omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (ii) the expression “6.50 percent” and substituting the expression “6.90 percent”;

(m) by omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (iii) the expression “6.60 percent” and substituting the expression “7.00 percent”.

3. Transitional provisions—(1) Paragraph 2 of this notice shall not apply to any interest payable in respect of the period that ends with the 31st day of May 2000.

(2) Paragraph 2 (a) of this notice shall apply:

(i) to agencies that commenced prior to the 1st day of June 2000, as from that date; and

(ii) to agencies that commenced on or after the 1st day of June 2000, as from the date of their commencement.

(3) Paragraph 2 (b) to 2 (m) inclusive of this notice:

(i) shall not apply to agencies that commenced prior to the 1st day of June 2000; but

(ii) shall apply to agencies that commence on or after the 1st day of June 2000, as from the date of their commencement.
