Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for use in connection with a road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land to be Declared Road and Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated — State Highway No. 2, Tararua District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares that the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 2 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) and 120 (3), declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares:

(i) The portions of road firstly and thirdly described (now known as Section 1, S.O. 10907 and Section 1, 10908 respectively) shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 138/216, subject to mortgage 643504.1.

(ii) The portions of road secondly and fourthly described (now known as Section 2, S.O. 10907 and Section 2, S.O. 10908 respectively) shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title A3/864, subject to mortgages 554510.3 and 663775.1
