Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and, further, classifies the said reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act.

Appointment of the Waipa District Council to Control and Manage a Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waikato Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby appoints the Waipa District Council to control and manage the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule below, subject to the special condition that should council appoint a committee to manage the reserve, such committee shall include representatives from the Te Kauhanganui o Waikato and the Purekireki Marae committee.
