Notice of Publication of Financial Statements of the Crown
Pursuant to section 31B of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance gives notice of the publication of the financial statements of the Crown for:
- the eight months ended 29 February 2000, on 7 April 2000.
Copies of these financial statements are available:
- for inspection free of charge at the National Library of New Zealand, Auckland City Library, Wellington Public Library and Canterbury Public Library;
- for purchase at branches of Bennetts bookshops; and
- through the internet:

The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in Common Fund) Notice 2000 Amendment No. 3
The following notice is given, pursuant to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957 and sections 28 and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988:
Notice

Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in the Common Fund) Notice 2000 Amendment Number 3 and shall take effect from and including the 13th day of April 2000.

Amendments to notice—The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in the Common Fund) Notice 2000, New Zealand Gazette, page 424, is hereby amended:
(a) By omitting from paragraph 2 (a) the expression “3.75 percent” and substituting the expression “3.70 percent”;
(b) By omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (i) the expression “5.80 percent” and substituting the expression “5.70 percent”;
(c) By omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (i) the expression “6.10 percent” and substituting the expression “6.00 percent”;
(d) By omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (ii) the expression “6.15 percent” and substituting the expression “6.05 percent”;
(e) By omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (iii) the expression “6.25 percent” and substituting the expression “6.20 percent”;
(f) By omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (i) the expression “6.20 percent” and substituting the expression “6.10 percent”;
(g) By omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (ii) the expression “6.30 percent” and substituting the expression “6.20 percent”;
(h) By omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (i) the expression “6.40 percent” and substituting the expression “6.30 percent”;
(i) By omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (ii) the expression “6.60 percent” and substituting the expression “6.50 percent”;
(j) By omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (iii) the expression “6.65 percent” and substituting the expression “6.60 percent”.
- Transitional provisions—(1) Paragraph 2 of this notice shall not apply to any interest payable in respect of the period that ends with the 12th day of April 2000.
(2) Paragraph 2 (a) of this notice shall apply:
(i) to agencies that commenced prior to the 13th day of April 2000, as from that date;
(ii) to agencies that commenced on or after the 13th day of April 2000, as from the date of their commencement.
(3) Paragraphs 2 (b) to 2 (j) inclusive of this notice:
(i) shall not apply to agencies that commenced prior to the 13th day of April 2000; but
(ii) shall apply to agencies that commence on or after the 13th day of April, as from the date of their commencement.

Civil Aviation Act 1990
Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 87O (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, notice is hereby given that the Deputy Secretary Air Services, having received an application from Royal Tongan Airlines Limited of Nuku’alofa, Tonga, has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for an increase in capacity to the equivalent of 5 B737 services per week between Tonga and New Zealand.
