Food Act 1981

New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999, Amendment No. 3

Section 11G of the Food Act 1981

Amendment No. 3 to the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999, was issued by the Minister of Health on 19 March 2000. Amendment No. 3 will come into force on 23 April 2000.

Amendment No. 3 establishes a maximum residue limit for ethylene oxide in spices of 20 mg/kg. Compliance with the provisions of the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Mandatory Food Standard 1999 is mandatory.
