Amendment to a Notice Classifying a Reserve

Under section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator, Canterbury, amends an error in the notice classifying a reserve dated 30 November 1999 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1999, page 4615, by omitting from the Schedule “S.O. Plan 20217” and inserting in its place “S.O. Plan 20127”.

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to section 24 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, Canterbury, hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (community buildings) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1987

Notice Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit a Maori Reservation is Set Apart

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the persons for whose use and benefit the land described in the Schedule hereto has been set apart as a Maori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 August 1974, No. 76, page 1674, is hereby redefined as being members of Te Tao-u hapu, the Reweti Maori community and acknowledging the other hapu of Haumoe Wharangi.

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a church and cemetery reserve for the common use and benefit of the owners and the successors of the owners.
