Order of the Council in Disciplinary Session—Registered Comprehensive Nurse

In exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (a), 42 (2) (d), 42 (3), 48A and 23 (2) of the Nurses Act 1977, following conviction under section 135 (A) of the Crimes Act 1961, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the Council”) in a decision dated 20 December 1999, ordered that a registered comprehensive nurse be censured.

The council also ordered that the nurse pay $495.00 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council and that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette and Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand, with the identity and personal circumstances of the nurse suppressed.
