Land to be Declared Limited Access Road, Land Taken and Road to be Stopped and Amalgamated—State Highway No. 57, Potts Hill, Horowhenua District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Declares the land in the Second Schedule to this notice to be taken, under section 119 (1), and further declares:

(i) The areas firstly, secondly, thirdly and fourthly described shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(ii) The areas fifthly and sixthly described shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 33C/251, subject to B. 471250.3.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 (3) and 120 (3), declares the portion of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 33C/251, subject to B. 471250.3.

Land to be Acquired for a Public Work (River Protection Works) at Mangaone (near Palmerston North) and Vested in the Manawatu–Wanganui Regional Council

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a public work (river protection works), subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987.
