Appointment of Members to the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board (No. F166)

Pursuant to section 3 (3) of the Fishing Industry Board Act 1963, I hereby give notice that I have appointed:

Christopher Tait Horton, executive director of Auckland to be chairman of the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board;

Fisheries (Rāpaki Bay Mātāitai Reserve Bylaws) Notice 2000 (No. F165)

Pursuant to Regulations 25 and 26 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, the Minister of Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Declaration of Rāpaki Bay Mātāitai Reserve Bylaws) Notice 2000.

(2) This notice shall come into effect 28 days after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice:

(a) The term “Rāpaki Bay Mātāitai Reserve” means the Mātāitai reserve at Rāpaki Bay, Lyttelton Harbour, notified in the Fisheries (Declaration of Mātāitai Reserve) Notice 1998 (New Zealand Gazette, 17 December 1998, No. 200, page 4762 ).
