1993, hereby disclaim for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, all right, title and interest of Her Majesty the Queen in all that parcel of land containing 2.0234 hectares or thereabouts situated in Block XIV of the Selwyn Survey District, being Rural Section 39708, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 8K/1289, Canterbury Land Registry, being property formerly held by Addington Joinery Limited (formerly The Addington Timber Company Limited), a company removed from the Companies Register on 21 August 1996 and formerly having its registered office at Christchurch.

And I certify that the vesting of the said property did not come to my notice until 3 July 2000.

Land Transport Safety Authority

Goods Service Vehicles (Constructional) Regulations 1936

Approval of a Specific Central Lubrication Device

Pursuant to regulation 2 (4) (c) (ii) of the Goods Service Vehicles (Constructional) Regulations 1936, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety, I, Laszlo Andras Hidvegi, Senior Engineer, Vehicle Policy, hereby approve the Central Lubrication Device specified in Schedule 1 of this notice for the purpose of being fitted to air brake systems of goods service vehicles, subject to conditions in Schedule 2.

Schedule 2

  1. The device must be fitted according to the specification issued by the manufacturer of the device.
  2. The brake impulse counter of the device may be connected to the β€œSignal” line of the air brake system through a restrictor only.
  3. The restrictor must be immediately next to the point of connection, and it must be in a form of an orifice with a diameter not exceeding 1mm.
  4. The air brake system of the vehicle must be protected according to regulation 2 (4) (c) of the Goods Service Vehicles (Constructional) Regulations 1936, but no separate air receiver is required for this device.

Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974

Exemption From Requirements of the Code of Practice for the Attachment of Logging Bolsters to Trucks and Trailers Used in the Transport of Logs

Pursuant to Regulation 16A (1) (f) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, and pursuant to powers sub-delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety, I, Peter Waring, Principal Engineer, hereby exempt the vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Code of Practice for Logging Bolsters to Trucks and Trailers used in the Transport of Logs, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2 of this notice.

Conditions

  1. Bolster attachments to use existing design.
  2. Minor modifications to the existing design are only permissible if the certifier can demonstrate by calculation or approved type test that the performance and life of the bolster attachments have not been diminished by the modifications.
  3. This exemption will expire on certification of the bolster attachments to a type testing process approved by the Log Transport Safety Council and the Land Transport Safety Authority, or on certification of the bolster attachments to the Code of Practice for Bolster Attachment issued by the Log Transport Safety Council and approved by the Land Transport Safety Authority.
