New Zealand Commercial Road Transport Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 16 October 2000, the New Zealand Commercial Road Transport Industry Training Organisation Incorporated was granted full recognition for Commercial Road Transport Industry, Stevedoring and Ports Industry, and the Road Transport Logistics Industry for warehousing, freight forwarding and distribution specifically relating to the receipt and breakdown of bulk and packaging for re-consignment, effective from 16 October 2000.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1-8.
The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Notice of Granting of an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 87N(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, I give notice that, having received an application from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines of the Netherlands, I have granted that airline an international air service licence to offer up to 7 return code-share services per week from points in the Netherlands via Kuala Lumpur to Auckland.

Maritime Transport Act 1993
Maritime Safety Authority of New Zealand Land Vesting Notice (No 2) 2000
Pursuant to section 21 of the Maritime Transport Act 1993 (as continued in force by section 202(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994) and section 24(1)(b)(ii) of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, the Minister of Transport gives the following notice.
Notice

Title—This notice may be cited as the Maritime Safety Authority of New Zealand Land Vesting Notice (No 2) 2000.

Application—This notice applies to all the land described in the Schedule.

Vesting—Subject to section 24 of the Conservation Act 1897 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, the land to which this notice applies vests for an estate in fee simple in the Maritime Safety Authority of New Zealand (a body corporate owned by the Crown under section 429 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994 and deemed by section 21 of the Maritime Transport Act 1993 to be a State enterprise for the purposes of Part IV of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986).

Notice of Indemnity Given Pursuant to Section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989—Deep Seismic Survey Services Contract
Pursuant to section 59(2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
In or about October 2000, the Minister of Finance, in relation to a contract between Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and Geco-Prakla International Limited, gave an indemnity to Geco-Prakla International Limited, in respect of any losses, costs, claims or liabilities in connection with:
(a) Injury or death of LINZ employees, officers and agents and those of its other contractors or invitees and loss of or damage to LINZ’s property and that of its own contractors, in all cases irrespective of the negligence or breach of duty of Geco-Prakla International Limited;
(b) Injury to or death of any third parties and loss of or damage to the property of third parties, in all cases to the extent that the injury, death, loss or damage was caused or contributed to by LINZ.
