Pursuant to Regulation 29 (2) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999, I, J. M. Chetwin, Chief Executive, Department of Labour, in exercise of those powers vested in me by section 34 of the State Sector Act 1988, hereby recognise the Certification Board for Inspection Personnel as a Qualification Issuing Agency.

The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 9 (3) (a) of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 18 September 2000, the Agriculture Industry Training Industry cancels the recognition of the New Zealand Water and Wastes Association Incorporated as the ITO for the supply of water and disposal of wastewater industries effective from 18 September 2000.

The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa hereby gives notice that on Monday, 16 October 2000, it recognises that the New Zealand Dairy Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has formally changed its name to the New Zealand Industry Training Organisation Incorporated; and that the gazetted coverage for the ITO remains the dairy industry, effective from 16 October 2000.

Agriculture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 18 September 2000, the Agriculture Industry Training Industry was granted recognition to extend its coverage as an Industry Training Organisation for the supply of water and disposal of wastewater industries.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1-8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation

The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, 18 September 2000, the Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation was granted full recognition for the management of power systems and assets, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the production, transmission and utilisation of electrical energy effective from 16 October 2000.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the above areas at Levels 1-8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.
