Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to Section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985

On 21 September 2000 at the District Court at Rotorua, Lucky William Ihaia, of 8 Jet Place, Rotorua, was convicted and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for twelve (12) months from 21 September 2000, following his conviction on 21 September 2000, for an offence of driving while disqualified (1) and, in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge P. W. Cooper has ordered that a Mazda motor vehicle, registration No. XI 4441 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 4.00 p.m. on 21 September 2000.

On 26 July 1999 at the District Court at Rotorua, Micheal Tiniwiti Karauria, of 11 Vaughan Road, Rotorua, was convicted and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver’s licence for one (1) year from 26 July 1999, following his conviction on 26 July 1999, for an offence of driving while disqualified (1) and, in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge P. J. Bate has ordered that a Holden motor vehicle, registration No. PN 4309 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.

The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 4.00 p.m. on 26 July 2000.
