(b) Any reference to “Kaitiaki” means the person or persons appointed under regulation 9 of the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998 as Tangata Kaitiaki/Tiaki for a general customary food gathering area/rohe moana and confirmed in clause 4 of this notice;
(c) Any reference to “area/rohe moana” means the area described by a line beginning on the coastline at Waipuna Stream (37°56.1’S 177°31.4’E) and travelling north to an ocean point (37°54.8’S 177°31.4’E) then west south west to an ocean point (34°54.6’S 177°25.9’E), then south to the beach at Te Toka a Ruatāia Tarakeha (37°58.4’S 177°25.9’E) and then east north east following the coastline to the point of commencement.

Nomination of Kaitiaki—Ngāi Tai Iwi, being the tangata whenua holding manawhenua manamoana over the area/rohe moana, have nominated Arapeta Geoffrey Mio, Tawhiao Kingi, Reuben Houia, Selwyn Lawson, Clifford Delamere, Russell Grant Mio, James William Maxwell, and Memory Mio as Kaitiaki for the area/rohe moana.

Appointment of Kaitiaki—The Manager Operational Policy, Ministry of Fisheries, hereby confirms the appointment of Arapeta Geoffrey Mio, Tawhiao Kingi, Reuben Houia, Selwyn Lawson, Clifford Delamere, Russell Grant Mio, James William Maxwell, and Memory Mio as Kaitiaki for managing customary food gathering for the area/rohe moana by the Minister of Fisheries. The appointment will commence the day after this notice is published.

Power to authorise taking of fisheries resources for customary food gathering—The Kaitiaki may authorise any individual to take fisheries resources managed under the Fisheries Acts 1983 and 1996, other than those fisheries resources that are taken in fresh water, for customary food gathering purposes from within the whole or any part of the area/rohe moana. No customary food gathering of fisheries resources may take place in the area/rohe moana without authorisation from the Kaitiaki.

to be Health and Disability Commissioner for a term of 5 years commencing on 4 March 2000.

Medical Radiation Technologists Regulations 1995
Notice of Prescribed Fees for Matters Relating to the Medical Auxiliaries Act 1966 (“the Act”) and the Medical Radiation Technologists Regulations 1995 (“the Regulations”)
The Medical Radiation Technologists Board prescribes the following fees payable (all inclusive of G.S.T.).
This notice is given under the authority of section 36 of the Act and shall come into force on 1 April 2000.
(a) Registration Fees
Application for registration under section 14 of the Act and regulation 4 of the Regulations, where the applicant has completed satisfactorily a course of training named in the First Schedule to the Regulations shall be $280.00.
Application for registration under section 14 of the Act and regulation 4 of the Regulations on any other basis shall be $380.00.
Application for further registration under regulation 4 (2) of the Regulations shall be $35.00.
Issue of a certificate of registration under section 19 of the Act shall be $43.00.
Issue of a certificate of temporary registration under regulation 8 of the Regulations shall be $250.00.
(b) Register of Medical Radiation Technologists Fees
Restoration of a name to the Register of Medical Radiation Technologists under section 21 of the Act shall be $43.00.
Inspection of the Register of Medical Radiation Technologists under section 24 of the Act shall be $35.00.
(c) Annual Licence Fees
Issue of an annual licence under section 34 of the Act shall be $155.00.
(d) Document Fees
Supplying to a medical radiation technologist any document for the purposes of seeking registration overseas shall be $30.00.
(e) Examination Fees
Examinations conducted by or on behalf of the Board under regulation 4 (1) (b) (ii) of the Regulations shall be $1,100.00.
(f) Exemption Fees
Application for exemption under regulation 11 (1) (e) of the Regulations shall be $30.00.
