Airworthiness Directive

Pursuant to section 72I (3) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and to a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, I, Geoffrey Neil Connor, Safety Analyst–Continuing Airworthiness, hereby issue the following airworthiness directive in respect of an aircraft:

This airworthiness directive shall come into force on 12 October 2000.

Airworthiness directives may be viewed on the CAA web site (www.caa.govt.nz) or at Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt, Wellington.

Transit New Zealand

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1999/11 : Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles on State Highways in Transit New Zealand Regions 9 and 10

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as follows.

Amendment

1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. In the Second Schedule after clause 8 (b), insert:

   At Brightwater, commencing at a point (Route Position 131/4.9) 300 metres south of Clover Road and proceeding in a generally southerly direction to a point (Route Position 131/6.28) 380 metres south of River Terrace Road; a distance of 1.38 kilometres.

This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.

Conservation

Reserves Act 1977

Authorising the Exchange of Part Golden Bay Scenic Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to section 15 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of that reserve land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and further declares that upon completion of the exchange, the land so acquired in the Second Schedule shall be held for scenic reserve purposes subject to the said Act.

First Schedule

1140 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 15404 (formerly being part of Lot 2, L.T. 555), part C.T. 171/1.

Second Schedule

857 square metres, more or less, being Lot 9, Deposited Plan 3141. All C.T. 162/4.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Christchurch City Council on 9 August 2000.

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves that the land held by the Council in fee simple for waterworks purposes, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of section 17 of the said Act.”
