General Licence—A licence under Regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993 is hereby granted for the installation, operation, and use of specified search and rescue transceivers.

Terms, conditions, and restrictions—(1) This licence applies only to radio apparatus for which a declaration of conformity to the technical conditions specified in clause 3(2) of this Notice has been submitted to the Chief Executive under Regulation 43 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993.
(2) The technical conditions relating to this licence are those specified in section 3 of the joint Australian/New Zealand standard AS/NZS 4330:1995, except where those technical conditions are superseded by the technical conditions specified in the Schedule to this licence.
(3) Under this licence, radio apparatus can only be used in a situation of actual search and rescue operation.
- Period of validity of notice—This notice expires on 31 January 2004.

This notice prescribes that, pursuant to Regulation 13 of the Radiocommunication (Radio) Regulations 1993, a general licence is granted in respect of the installation, operation and use of radio apparatus meeting the operational requirements for search and rescue activities and the technical requirements laid down in the notice.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 24 September 1999, which was granted under those regulations to Susan Speedy in respect of Fun Station Learning Centre (10099), situated at 525 Ellerslie-Panmure Highway, Panmure, Auckland.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 18 September 1998, which was granted under those regulations to Vicky Johnston in respect of Te Atatu Playcentre (22012), situated at Harbour View Road, Te Atatu, Auckland.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 24 November 1998, which was granted under those regulations to Suzanne Gail Hutchinson in respect of Goodwill Kindergarten Trust (20569), situated at Waikeremoana Place, Pakuranga, Auckland.

Ashburton Borough School (3281) and
Lagmhor School (3403)
will merge on 30 January 2001 as a primary school.
Ashburton Borough School will be the continuing school.
