(ii) The flashing or revolving amber lights must be used only while the vehicles are operated in conjunction with the event;
(iii) The flashing or revolving amber lights must not cause annoyance to, or endanger the safety of, other road users;
(iv) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicles at all times and must be readily available for inspection.

The Water Recreation (Lake Argyle) Notice 2000
I, John Norman Keith Mansell, Divisional Manager, Maritime Operations, pursuant to regulation 18 of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 257A of the Harbours Act 1950 and section 443 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, hereby give the following notice:
Notice
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Lake Argyle) Notice 2000.
(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
- The area on Lake Argyle contained within the following points:
an orange post with horizontal black bands located on the foreshore at lat. 41°40′ 49.353 S. long. 173°11′ 49.376 E., to the point lat. 41°40′ 42.9182 S. long. 173°11′ 51.866 E., to the point lat. 41°40′ 22.1197 S. long. 173°12′ 08.296 E., to the point lat. 41°40′ 21.774 S. long. 173°12′ 04.787 E., to the point lat. 41°40′ 42.473 S. long. 173°11′ 48.290 E., to an orange post with horizontal black bands located on the foreshore at lat. 41°40′ 49.377 S. long. 173°11′ 49.212 E.
is designated a reserved area for the purpose of water skiing only for the periods specified in clause 3 of this notice.
- The area defined in clause 2 of this notice is reserved for the purpose of water skiing between the months of November and May inclusive from 12.00 noon until sunset on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Sundays.

Conservation Act 1987
Declaring Land to be Held For Conservation Purposes
Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.
