Ngāi Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998

Vesting of a Reserve in Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu

Pursuant to section 156 (6) of the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservator, Otago Conservancy, hereby notifies the vesting of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, pursuant to section 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, as an historic reserve.

4.09 hectares, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 24922, subject however to the condition imposed by section 156 (5) of the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998, that public access to Section 2, S.O. 24922, is available as if it were a marginal strip.
